NEPSE Down by 11.60 points To Close at 2,060.16 Levels: Turnover Stood At Rs. 4.05 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a decline of 11.60 points today, a decrease of 0.56%, closing at 2,060.16 points. This follows a gain of 5.60 points in the previous trading session.

The trading day commenced with the index at 2,075.75 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,077.26 points. The index experienced a low of 2,055.20 points before settling at the closing value of 2,060.16 points.

Today's trading session involved 305 stocks across 54,793 transactions, with a total trading volume of 8,727,164 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 4.05 Arba with a market capitalization of Rs. 32.66 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.06 Kharba.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs.16.46 Crores and closing at Rs. 1,033.00 per share.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) hit the positive circuit, surging by 9.87% to close at Rs. 1033.

Conversely, Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SDLBSL) faced a significant loss, dropping by 6.38%.

In sector performance, only three sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Finance Index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 0.45%, while the "Development Bank Index" saw the highest loss, declining by 1.03%.
