NEPSE Down By 26.36 Points To Close at 2022.92 Levels; Market Cap Stood at Rs. 31.43 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 26.36 points, or 1.28%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,022.92 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 8.71 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2049.9, hitting an intraday low of 2,019.77, and reaching an intraday high of 2,056.49.
During today's trading, there were 304 different stocks traded in 98,632 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 15,268,399 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.24 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.43 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.87 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 28.00 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 498.80.
Similarly, Three companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) experienced the highest loss of 6.69%.
In terms of sector indices, all the sectors closed in red except for the "Hydropower Index". The "Hydropower Index" saw the highest gain of 1.03%, while the "Life Insurance Index" saw a loss of 2.40%.
