NEPSE Drops by 26.07 Points with Rs. 6.77 Arba Turnover; Finance Sector Sole Gainer as Non-Life Insurance Suffers Steep Decline

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a decline of 26.07 points (0.99%) today, closing at 2,597.49, following a significant 114.70-point gain in the previous session.
The market fluctuated throughout the day, starting at 2,629.73 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,643.76, and dipping to an intraday low of 2,582.72.
By the session's end, a total of 310 scrips were traded through 83,081 transactions, leading to a turnover of Rs. 6.77 Arba with 15,199,763 shares exchanged.
Nepal Finance Company Ltd. (NFS) led the turnover with Rs. 20.71 crore worth of shares, closing at Rs. 1,387.90.
Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) recorded the day's highest gain of 10%.
Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) posted the largest loss of 10%.
Sector-wise, the Finance Index saw the highest increase of 1.75%, while the Non-Life Insurance Index registered the highest loss of 1.82%.
