NEPSE Drops to 2,600 Levels After a 45.93-Point Decline, Turnover Falls to Rs. 7.46 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 45.93 points (1.67%) today, closing at 2,689, after a loss of 15.93 points in the previous trading session.

The market opened at 2,752.38 and showed fluctuations, reaching an intraday low of 2,675.92 and a high of 2,735.67. The day's turnover stood at Rs. 7.46 Arba, with 81,404 transactions involving 17,392,244 shares from 321 companies.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) recorded the highest turnover, with trades worth Rs. 32.64 crores, closing at Rs. 1,114.80 per share.

On the gainers' side, Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd. (KKHC) registered the highest growth, hitting the upper circuit with a 9.98% increase.

On the other hand, three companies saw the steepest decline, each dropping by 10%.

Among the indices, the Life Insurance Index faced the most significant loss, dropping by 3.07%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index recorded the smallest decline at 0.32%.
