NEPSE Edges Up to 2,630.71 with Rs. 5.32 Arba Turnover; PRVU Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a slight increase of 4.19 points (0.15%) today, closing at 2,630.71. This comes after a double-digit gain of 14.11 points in the previous session, reflecting steady market sentiment.
The market opened at 2,625.44 and witnessed fluctuations throughout the day, reaching an intraday high of 2,639.08 and a low of 2,607.75. Despite the volatility, the market managed to close in the green.
The total turnover for the day stood at Rs. 5.32 Arba, generated from 61,839 transactions involving 20,978,979 shares of 310 companies.
Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) led the turnover chart with Rs. 50.77 crores worth of trades, closing at Rs. 244 per share.
On the gainers' side, two companies experienced the maximum allowable growth, increasing by 10% each.
Conversely, three development banks saw a significant drop, declining by 10%.
Among the sectoral indices, the Trading Index recorded the highest increase, rising by 2.31%. Meanwhile, the Finance Index faced the largest decline, dropping by 2.70%.
