NEPSE Edges Up to 2,700.04 with Rs. 5.44 Arba Turnover; CHDC Tops Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its upward momentum, gaining 23.86 points (0.89%) to close at 2,700.04. This follows a 16.95-point loss in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,693.13, reaching an intraday high of 2,712.25 and a low of 2,669.06. The total turnover stood at Rs. 5.44 Arba, with 10,442,683 shares exchanged across 318 companies through 53,884 transactions.
CEDB Holdings Limited (CHDC) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 36.55 Crores in trades and closing at Rs. 2,455 per share.
Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) topped the gainers' list, surging 10%.
Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited (BNL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.
Among sectors, the Trading Index posted the highest gain of 9.44%, whereas the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest decline of 1.47%.
