NEPSE Edges Up to 2,722.73 with Rs. 10.79 Arba Turnover; HPPL Tops Turnover Chart

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 26.49 points (0.98%) to close at 2,722.73. This follows a 7.01-point gain in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,702.46, reaching an intraday high of 2,740.13 and a low of 2,697.63. The total turnover stood at Rs. 10.79 Arba, with 23,773,731 shares exchanged across 311 companies through 90,555 transactions.
Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 15.82 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 660.
Two companies topped the gainers' list, hitting 10% each.
Meanwhile, 10% NIC Asia Debenture 2085/86 (NICAD85/86) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.79%.
Among sectors, the Investment Index posted the highest gain of 2.99%, whereas the Trading Index saw the highest decline of 0.15%.
