The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a substantial gain today, closing at 2,738.06 points, up by 62.54 points or 2.33% from the previous session's slight loss of 1.88 points.
The trading session opened at 2,681.59 points, fluctuating between an intraday low of 2,680.70 and a high of 2,738.12.
The day concluded with 22,474,281 shares of 325 companies traded across 100,651 transactions, accumulating a total turnover of Rs. 9.71 Arba.
Sanima GIC Insurance Limited (SGIC) led the turnover with Rs. 35.38 crores, closing at Rs. 1,421.90.
Additionally, six stocks hit the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Sanima Growth Fund (SAGF) faced the steepest decline, dropping 6.76%.
Sector-wise, the "Hydropower Index," led the gain by 4.26%. The "Mutual Fund Index" saw the least gain, increasing by 0.62%.
