NEPSE ends the week with 6.73 points gain at 1149.34 points; Machhapuchhre Bank posts turnover of Rs.7.11 Crore

The market closed for the week at 1149.34 points. The benchmark index closed for the week with 0.59% or 6.73 points gain. The turnover amount increased to Rs.32.76 Crore, achieved through trade of 1,204,015 units of shares traded through 4,442 transactions trading scrips of 155 listed companies in the process.

Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.7.11 Crore achieved through trade of 318,392 units of shares. The LTP stands at Rs.230 per share.

Arun Valley Hydropower (AHPC) was today’s top gainer as it gained 8.33% or 8 point and closed at Rs.104 per share. Arun Kabeli Power (AKPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.79% or 8 points and closed at Rs.130 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.88 points and closed at 252.05 points while Float Index gained 0.45 points and closed at 85.21 points.

Only Non-Life Insurance sector lost 0.19% today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
