NEPSE Fall Mere 0.42% to Settle at 2,049.28 Levels; Only Four Sector Closes Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 8.71 points, or 0.42%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,049.28 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 27.90 points for the index as well.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2058.57, hitting an intraday low of 2,046.05, and reaching an intraday high of 2,072.08.
During today's trading, there were 303 different stocks traded in 108,403 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 16,052,101 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.58 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.83 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.00 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 33.45 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 508.
Similarly, today's highest gainer are Kalika power Company Ltd (KPCL) and Singati Hydro Energy Limited (SHEL) at 10%. Following the line are Nepal Warehousing Company Limited (NWCL) at 9.99% and Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) at 9.98%.
On the flip side, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited (SPIL) experienced the highest loss of 6.56%.
In terms of sector indices, only four sectors closed in green today. The "Trading Index" saw the highest gain of 2.34%, while the "Others Index" saw a loss of 3.70%.
