NEPSE Falls by 7.26 Points to Close at 2,678.47, Rs. 7.92 Arba Turnover Recorded

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a slight decline today, falling by 7.26 points (0.27%) to close at 2,678.47. This follows a previous session gain of 1.86 points.
The trading session commenced at 2,686.77, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,697.34 and a low of 2,673.88. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 7.92 Arba, encompassing 15,875,152 shares traded across 302 companies through 78,835 transactions.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 34.14 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,415.
Three scrips emerged as the top gainers with a 10% increase each.
Conversely, Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10%.
Sector-wise, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 1.86%, while the Development Bank Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 0.95%.
