NEPSE Gains 0.70% While Volume Stood at Rs. 5.54 Arba; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 14.88 points, or 0.70%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,119.61 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 10.26 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,105.87 hitting an intraday low of 2,105.46, and reaching an intraday high of 2,128.11.
During today's trading, there were 308 different stocks traded in 1,17,059 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 15,178,368 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.54 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.31 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.44 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 75.27 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 709.60.
Similarly, Three companies hit positive circuit today.
On the flip side, Mid Solu Hydropower Limited (MSHL) experienced the highest loss of 8.35%.
In terms of sector indices, Four sectors indices closed in red today. The "Other Index" saw the highest gain of 3.56%, while the "Microfinance Index" saw a loss of 0.30%.
