NEPSE Gains 0.88% to Close at 1,831.05; Eleven Sectors Close Green Led by "Development Bank"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,831.05 today after gaining 15.92 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.88%. The index had lost 23.83 points this Sunday.

The index opened at 1,814.71 which is also the intraday low. Then the index made intraday high at 1,842.05 and ultimately closed at 1,831.05.

229 scrips traded hands via 16,823 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,107,742 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 66.30 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.072 Arba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 2.85 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 486 per share. The shares of Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) traded the most.

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) gained the highest 9.97% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Garima Debenture, 2085 (GBBD85) lost all 10% today.

Only two sector indices closed red, "Hotel and Tourism" lost 0.82% while "Development Bank" gained the highest 1.62%.
