NEPSE Gains 14.57 Points But Intraday Turnover Declines; Others Index Gain 4.68%

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 14.57 points, or 0.70%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,076.27 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 5.31 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,063.93 hitting an intraday low of 2,060.55, and reaching an intraday high of 2,084.80.
During today's trading, there were 310 different stocks traded in 56,775 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 7,491,303 with a total turnover of Rs. 2.43 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.63 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.16 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 18.59 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 686.
Similarly, Three companies hit positive circuit today.
On the flip side, Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) experienced the highest loss of 6.78%.
In terms of sector indices, Four sector indices closed in red today. The "Others Index" saw the highest gain of 4.68%, while the "Non-Life Insurance Index" saw a loss of 0.41%.
