NEPSE Gains 34.61 Points in Four Days; SAMAJ Hit Positive Circuit Today As Well

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 5.74 points, or 0.27%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,096.38 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 4.92 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,094.18 hitting an intraday low of 2,082.72, and reaching an intraday high of 2,097.97.
During today's trading, there were 317 different stocks traded in 67,273 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,171,710 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.21 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.95 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.30 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 18.87 crores, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 689.
Similarly, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) showed the highest gain of 10%, followed by Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) with a gain of 9.99%.
On the flip side, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme 3 (SIGS3) experienced the highest loss of 9.97%.
In terms of sector indices, Four sector indices closed in red today. The "HydroPower Index" saw the highest gain of 1.44%, while the "Mutual Fund Index" saw a loss of 1.00%.
