NEPSE Gains 4.98 Points on First Trading Day of the Week With Overall Volume of Rs. 11.72 Arba; Three Stocks Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2,753.76 points today, gaining 4.98 points or 0.18% on the first trading day of the week. This follows a previous session's increase of 13.95 points.
The index opened at 2,753.43 points, fluctuating between a low of 2,748.29 and a high of 2,788.12. A total of 24,426,900 shares from 326 companies were traded through 113,252 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 11.72 Arba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) led the turnover with Rs. 45.17 crores and closed at Rs. 571.
Similarly, three scrips hit the positive circuit.
On the other hand, SFCL and GLBSL saw the steepest declines, each falling by 10%.
Sector-wise, the "Hotels and Tourism Index" led the gains with a 2.21% increase, while the "Finance Index" recorded the sharpest loss, slipping by 1.63%.
