NEPSE Gains 5.09 Points Monday to Settle at 1998.48 Levels; Kutheli Bukhari Hydro Hitting Consecutive Positive Circuits

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,998.48 points, as the index gained 5.09 points or 0.25% compared to the previous day's closing. 

The session kicked off with the index opening at 1,994.03 and made an intraday high of 2,009.70. However, the market reached an intraday low of 1,989.37, before finally settling at the closing value of 1,998.48.

During today's trading, a total of 279 scrips were exchanged through 31,599 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 3,670,731 representing a turnover market capitalization of Rs. 29.91 Kharba. 

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited (LSL) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 7.31 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 181.20.

Similarly, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) gained the highest 10%, hitting the upper circuit for the day.

Meanwhile, Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) lost the highest 4.38% today.

In terms of sector indices, trading sector gained thw most with 0.65 percent positive change. The Hydropower Index lost the most for the day with a 0.09% negative change.
