NEPSE gains for third consecutive day to close at 1345.97 points; two companies hit the positive circuit

The market today was in the green for the whole day and closed with gain for the third consecutive day. The benchmark index gained 0.34% or 4.60 points and closed at 1345.97 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.50 Arba achieved through trade of 3,986,769 units of shares traded through 15,199 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.
Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) posted the highest turnover of Rs.9.97 Crore with LTP at Rs.2784 per share. Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 175,730 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.579 per share.
Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Central Finance Company Limited (CFCL) gained 9.93% or 14 points and Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) gained 9.87% or 71 points. United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.53% or 4 points to close at Rs.109 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 0.19 points and closed at 285.56 points while Float Index gained 0.21 points and closed at 95.43 points.
Banking, Development Bank and Hydropower sectors were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
