NEPSE Gains Substantial 31.62 Points To Close At 2,120.62 Levels on Last Day of Q2; 11 Companies Hits Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 31.62 points, or 1.51%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,120.62 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 0.62 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,093.48, hitting an intraday low of 2,093.44, and reaching an intraday high of 2,121.67.
During today's trading, there were 314 different stocks traded in 94,526 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 16,605,234 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.45 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.30 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.50 Kharba.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited Promoter Share (NRICP) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 35.68 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 280.
Similarly, Eleven companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, Mega Mutual Fund -1 (MMF1) experienced the highest loss of 9.53%.
In terms of sector indices, Two sectors closed in red today. The "Hydropower Index" saw the highest gain of 4.58%, while the "Trading Index" saw a loss of 0.94%.
