NEPSE Gains Subtly to Close at 2,653.38 Levels; NYADI Leads Turnover While Two Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its rise, gaining a modest 6.53 points (0.24%) to close at 2,653.38. This follows a single-digit gain of 6.16 -points in the previous session.

Starting the day at 2,670.51, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,672.14 and a low of 2,642.59. A total turnover of Rs. 6.4 Arba was recorded, with 72,120 transactions involving 15,502,751 shares of 305 listed companies.

Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 22.53 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 641 per share.

Similarly, two companies topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in each share price.

In contrast, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 10%.

Likewise, the Finance Index posted the highest gain, rising by 4.77%, while the Trading Index declined the most by 1.56%.
