NEPSE Gains Subtly to Close at 2,683.86 Levels; CHDC Leads Turnover While Four Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a minimal incline of 6.54 points (0.24%) to close at 2,683.86, following a double-digit 10.98-point loss in the previous session.
Opening at 2,678.13, NEPSE fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a high of 2,691.91 and a low of 2,673.03. The total turnover stood at Rs. 7.24 Arba, with 13,968,258 shares traded across 299 companies in 72,094 transactions.
CEDB Holdings Limited (CHDC) led in turnover, recording transactions worth Rs. 36.81 crores. Its stock closed at Rs. 2,115.
Four scrips hit the 10% upper circuit, topping the gainers' list.
Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) saw the steepest decline, dropping 10%.
Among sectoral indices, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, rising 2.37%, while the Trading Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.05%.
