NEPSE Gains Subtly to Close at 2,755.40 Levels; HRL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 11.08 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a minimal gain today, rising by 3.35 points (0.12%) to close at 2,755.40. This follows a previous session gain of 11.66 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,754.55, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,785.10 and a low of 2,746. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 11.08 Arba, encompassing 21,110,619 shares traded across 310 companies through 103,262 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 89.35 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 990.

Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited (GMLI) emerged as the top gainer with a 10% increase.

Conversely, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10%.

Sector-wise, the Others Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 2.50%, while the Finance Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 1.21%.
