NEPSE Inches Up 2.41 Points, Turnover Stands at Rs. 11.87 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a slight gain of 2.41 points (0.08%) to close at 2,730.00, following a strong 69.80-point surge in the previous session.
Opening at 2,728.65, NEPSE fluctuated throughout the day, reaching a high of 2,764.17 and a low of 2,720.42. The total turnover stood at Rs. 11.87 Arba, with 23,770,348 shares traded across 319 companies in 111,918 transactions.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led in turnover, recording transactions worth Rs. 35.3 crores. Its stock closed at Rs. 1,346.
Two stocks hit the 10% upper circuit, topping the gainers' list.
Meanwhile, two scrips saw the steepest decline, dropping 10% each.
Among sectoral indices, the Non-Life Insurance Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.82%, while the Finance Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.07%.
