NEPSE Index Achieves Triple-Digit Gain of 114.70 Points, Closing at 2,623.56 Levels with Overall Turnover of Rs. 7.61 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a significant triple-digit surge of 114.70 points (4.57%) today, closing at 2,623.56, following a 44.45-point gain in the previous session.

The market fluctuated throughout the day, starting at 2,510.35 points, dipping to an intraday low of 2,510.11, and peaking at 2,623.56.

By the session's end, a total of 307 scrips were traded through 96,906 transactions, leading to a turnover of Rs. 7.61 Arba with 17,507,555 shares exchanged.

NLG Insurance Company Ltd. (NLG) led the turnover with Rs. 28.82 crore worth of shares, closing at Rs. 1,335.

Twenty companies recorded the day's highest gain of 10%.

Meanwhile, NMB 50 (NMB50) posted the largest loss of 3.86%.

Sector-wise, the Finance Index saw the highest increase of 9.74%, while the Mutual Fund Index registered the lowest gain of 1.66%.
