NEPSE Index closes at 1115.74 points after gaining 3.75 points today; two companies hit the positive circuit

The market today was in the green zone for most part of the day. The benchmark index gained 0.34% or 3.75 points and closed at 1115.74 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.26.68 Crore achieved through trade of 1,010,991 units of shares traded through 4,326 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.
Promoter Shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBLPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.60 Crore achieved through trade of 137,345 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.190 per share.
Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL) gained 10% and closed at Rs.638 per share while Dibyashwari Hydropower (DHPL) gained 8.14% and closed at Rs.53 per share. Salt Trading Corporation (STC) was today’s top loser after losing 5.41% or 68 points, closing at Rs.1188 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 0.63 points and closed at 246.34 points while Float Index gained 0.34 points and closed at 83.08 points.
Trading, Development Banks, Finance and Others were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
