NEPSE Index closes at 1313.42 points after losing 7.05 points; Global IME Bank makes up massive 38.65% of the total turnover

The market today lost 0.53% or 7.05 points. NEPSE Index closed at 1313.42 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.58 Arba achieved through trade of 4,914,437 units of shares traded through 15,508 transactions trading scrips of 178 listed companies in the process.

Global IME Bank (GBIME) dominated the trade with massive turnover of Rs.61.12 Crore, making up 38.65% of the total turnover. This was achieved through trade of 1,977,586 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.305 per share. The price of the stock fluctuated between Rs.301 and Rs.331. A total of 308,465 shares were traded through 821 transactions at a price of Rs.310.

Asian Life Insurance Company (ALICL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 8.47% or 41 points and closed at Rs.525 per share. Panchthar Power Company (PCL) was today’s top loser as it lost 8.69% or 12 points, closing at Rs.126 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.13 points and closed at 282.30 points while Float Index lost 0.45 points and closed at 93.27 points.

Life Insurance sector was the only gaining sub-index as it gained 2.32% or 162.74 points. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
