NEPSE Index closes at 1347.38 points after gaining double digits today; one company hits the positive circuit

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day and closed with gain of double digit points. The benchmark index gained 1.29% or 17.11 points, closing at 1347.38 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.53 Arba achieved through trade of 3,996,877 units of shares traded through 15,232 transactions trading scrips of 175 listed companies in the process.
Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) posted the highest turnover of Rs.15.02 Crore with LTP at Rs.560 per share. Civil Bank Limited (CBL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 538,060 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.155 per share.
Kalika Power Company Limited (KPCL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 10% or 9 points and closed at Rs.99 per share. Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) was today’s top loser at it lost 5.08% or 3 points, closing at Rs.56 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 3.75 points and closed at 285.37 points while Float Index gained 1.30 points and closed at 95.21 points.
Only Trading sector lost 1.33% today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
