NEPSE Index closes for the week below 1130 points after third consecutive day of loss; loses 1.73 points today

The market closed for the week at 1129.80 points after losing 0.15% or 1.73 points today. NEPSE has lost points for the third consecutive day. The turnover was worth Rs.21.25 Crore achieved through trade of 799,128 units of shares traded through 5,146 transactions trading scrips of 168 listed companies in the process.

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.1.94 Crore achieved through trade of 79,749 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.243 per share.

Synergy Power Development (SPDL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 7.46% or 5 points and closed at Rs.72 per share. Joshi Hydropower Company (JOSHI) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.26% or 3 points and closed at Rs.54 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.39 points and closed at 247.32 points while Float Index lost 0.14 points and closed at 83.57 points.

Hotels, Hydropower, Life Insurance and Mutual Funds gained points while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
