NEPSE Index Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain; Plummets 1.23% Today While Volume Stood at Rs. 6.14 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by 33.42 points (1.23%) today, closing at 2,682.29, following a rise of 45.88 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,730.24 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,730.31 and a low of 2,678.09. The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 6.14 Arba, with 67,128 transactions involving 12,371,318 shares across 304 companies.

Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 26.12 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 861.20 per share.

On the gainers' side, Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) posted the highest growth, rising by 8.55%.

Conversely, Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) saw a significant drop of 9.99%.

Among the indices, the Mutual Fund Index recorded the highest gain, climbing by 0.39%, while the Finance Index suffered the biggest loss, falling by 2.64%.
