NEPSE Index Dips 0.48% to Close at 2,667.40 Levels; Janaki Finance Led in Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted a sharp loss of 13.03 points (0.48%) today, closing at 2,667.40. This follows a decline of 31.31 points in the previous session.
The market opened at 2,690.52 and exhibited volatility throughout the day, with an intraday low of 2,661.22 and a high of 2,698.76. A total turnover of Rs. 7.72 Arba was recorded from 15,270,197 shares traded across 322 companies in 76,418 transactions.
Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led trading activity with a turnover of Rs. 60.87 crores, closing at Rs. 1,043.
Notably, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) gained the highest 9.91%.
On the downside, Century Debenture 2088 (CCBD88) suffered the steepest decline, falling by 7.75%.
Sector-wise, the "Manufacturing and Processing Index" gained the highest 0.68%, while the "Development Bank Index" led to a loss of 1.63%.
