NEPSE Index Drops Minimal 7.66 Points While Overall Volume Reached Just Rs. 4.34 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline today, falling by 7.66 points (0.28%) to close at 2,697.04. This follows a previous session decline of 21.63 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,721.82, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,723.89 and a low of 2,690.58. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 4.34 Arba, encompassing 8,237,902 shares traded across 313 companies through 50,834 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 32.11 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 986.

Mithila LaghuBitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL) emerged as the top gainer with a 9.96% increase.

Conversely, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 8.21%.

Among sectoral indices, the Other Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.11%, while the Life Insurance Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 0.70%.
