NEPSE Index Falls 1.29 Points to Close at 1381.37; Total Turnover 91.81 Crores

The market today closed at 1,381.37 levels, falling by a meager 1.29 points (0.09%).
Even though the market lost aggressively about 10 minutes after opening, it gradually rebounded by the end of the day to close near its open.
23.46 points volatility was witnessed today, with the market reaching the highest 1388.69 and the lowest 1365.23 for the day.
A total of 2,337,230 shares exchanged hands amounting to 918,189,430 in the turnover amount. 186 scrips were traded via 20,548 transactions.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 11.78 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 575 per share. Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the second-highest turnover of Rs. 8.44 crores. Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) also has the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.
Float index is down by 0.04 points and is currently at 96.71. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 289.55 after losing 0.63 points from the previous close.
Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL), Ajod Insurance Limited (AIL), and Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) hit the 10% positive circuit today.
On the other hand, Mahila Sahayatra Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSMBS) lost the most 6.06% followed by Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) which lost 5.68%.
Six sectors gained today while six others ended red. Hotels gained the most 2.27% and Trading lost the most 1.1%.
