NEPSE Index falls to 1154.11 points after losing double digits today; one company hits the negative circuit

The market today lost double digit points and closed at a low of 1154.11 points. The benchmark index fell by 1.18% or 13.75 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.40.79 Crore achieved through trade of 1,371,134 units of shares traded through 6,603 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) posted the highest turnover at Rs.4.56 Crore with LTP of Rs.400 per share. Promoter shares of Best Finance Company (BFCPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 136,048 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.100 per share.
Dibyashwari Hydropower (DHPL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.45% or 3 points and closed at Rs.58 per share. Himalayan Power Partner (HPPL) hit the negative circuit as it lost 9.49% or 15 points and close at Rs.143 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 2.15 points and closed at 253.52 points while Float Index lost 0.91 points and closed at 85.97 points.
All sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. Non-Life Insurance sector was the top loser after losing 3.68% or 172.09 points.
