NEPSE Index Gains 0.43% to Close at 2,739.82 Levels; Overall Volume Reached Rs. 10.43 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a double-digit gain today, rising by 11.91 points (0.43%) to close at 2,739.82. This follows a previous session gain of 29.87 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,735.42, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,757.30 and a low of 2,726.43. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 10.43 Arba, encompassing 18,230,302 shares traded across 314 companies through 99,585 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 82.02 crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 936.

Four scrips emerged as the top gainers with a 10% increase each.

Conversely, two scrips faced the steepest decline, dropping by 10% each.

Sector-wise, the Other Index registered the highest gain, advancing by 2.47%, while the Trading Index experienced the most significant decline, falling by 1.27%.
