NEPSE Index Gains Around 77.17 Points Post-Dashain; Market Cap at Rs. 43.65 Kharba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,745.36 points today, marking a minimal increase of 2.47 points, or 0.09%, compared to the previous day's close. With this the market has gained around 77.17 points after Dashain.
Today's trading session opened with the index at 2,747.69, reaching an intraday low of 2,734.19 and a high of 2,780.97.
A total of 316 stocks were traded through 80,595 transactions, with 18,807,492 shares exchanged, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 7.19 Arba. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.65 Kharba, while the float market capitalization reached Rs. 15.42 Kharba.
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) recorded the highest turnover today at Rs. 33.13 crores, closing at a market price of Rs. 243.
Goodwill Finance Limited (GFCL) saw the highest gain, increasing by 7.63%.
Meanwhile, Upper Syange Hydropower Limited (USHL) faced the sharpest loss, dropping by a maximum of 5.19%.
Among the sector indices, six sector indices closed in the red. The "Mutual Fund Index" was the top performer, gaining 1.4%, while the "Trading Index" sector recorded the highest loss of 2.10%.
