NEPSE Index gains double digit points, closing at 1300.62 points; Trading sector gains the most

NEPSE Index closed at 1300.62 points today after gaining double digit points. The market gained 1.88% or 23.95 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.91.73 Crore achieved through trade of 2,409,262 units of shares traded through 11,209 transactions trading scrips of 180 listed companies in the process.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.8.14 Crore with LTP of Rs.1117 per share. Global IME Bank (GBIME) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 180,162 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.295 per share.
Summit Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SMFDB) was the top gainer after gaining 7.79% or 51 points to close at Rs.706 per share. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) was today’s top loser as it lost 3.07% or 2 points, closing at Rs.63 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 4.53 points and closed at 279.15 points while Float Index gained 1.79 points and closed at 92.24 points.
All the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points today. Trading sector gained the most at 4.47%.
