NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.18% While Trading Sector Leads; CFCL and ICFC Hits Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed an incline of 3.79 points today, an increase of 0.18%, closing at 2,104.22 points. This follows a profit of 47.04 points in the previous trading session.
The trading day commenced with the index at 2,101.84 points, reaching an intraday high of 2,104.38 points. The index experienced a low of 2,076.95 points before settling at the closing value of 2,104.22 points.
Today's trading session involved 314 stocks across 61,199 transactions, with a total trading volume of 17,134,082 shares. The overall turnover reached Rs. 5.08 Arba with a market capitalization of Rs. 33.36 Kharba and a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.39 Kharba.
Manjushree Finance Ltd. (MFIL) led the market in terms of turnover, achieving Rs. 23.01 Crores and closing at Rs. 594.90 per share.
Likewise, Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) and ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) faced a significant loss, dropping by 4.70%.
In sector performance, five sector indices concluded the day in positive territory. The "Trading index" recorded the highest sectoral gain of 6.12%, while "Manufacturing And Processing" lost the highest 1.07%.
