NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.23% to Close at 2,646.84 Levels; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its rise, gaining a modest 6.16 points (0.23%) to close at 2,640.68. This follows a significant 49.12-point increase in the previous session.
Starting the day at 2,654.34, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,656.52 and a low of 2,625.24. A total turnover of Rs. 5.38 Arba was recorded, with 66,626 transactions involving 12,081,606 shares of 305 listed companies.
Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 16.92 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 953.90 per share.
Similarly, three companies topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in each share price.
In contrast, two scrips recorded the steepest decline of the day, each falling by 10%.
Likewise, the Finance Index posted the highest gain, rising by 2.65%, while the Banking Index declined the most by 0.27%.
