NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.35% and Closes at 1,837.46; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 48.54 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,837.46 today after gaining 6.41 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.35%. The index had gained 15.92 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,831.23 which is also the intraday low. Then the index made intraday high at 1,845.69 and ultimately closed at 1,837.46.

221 scrips traded hands via 11,927 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 1,370,477 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 48.54 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 66.30 Crores.

National Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Promoter (NMFBSP) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 4.75 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,152 per share.

Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) gained the highest 9.20% for the day.

On the other side of things, Global IME Balanced Fund-1 (GIBF1) lost all 10% today.

Four sector indices closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 0.43% while "Microfinance" gained the highest 0.96%.
