NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.48% and Closes at 2,183.62; 5 Companies Hits 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 2,183.62 today after gaining 10.37 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.48%. The index gained 8.14 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,175.79 which is also the intraday lowest,  it also made an intraday high of 2199.87, and ultimately closed at 2,183.62.

261 scrips traded hands via 54,377 transactions. A total of 9,532,867 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.466 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3 Arba.

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) shares traded the most whereas National Hydro Power Company (NHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.14 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 278 per share.

Greenlife Hydropower Limited (GLH) and Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit.

On the other side of things, RBB Mutual Fund 1 (RMF1) lost the highest 5.70% today.

Ten sector indices closed green, "Hotels And Tourism Index" gained the highest 3.65% while " Others" lost the highest 1.50% today.
