NEPSE Index Loses 6.24 Points in Today's Trading Session; Sarbottam Cement Hits Positive Circuit on First Trading Day

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 6.24 points, or 0.30%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,067.29 points. The index had incurred a gain of 3.27 points in the trading session before.
The trading day commenced with the index opening at 2,074.54, dipping to an intraday low of 2,064.44, and peaking at an intraday high of 2,091.52.
During today's trading, there were 307 different stocks traded in 63,801 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 9,478,933 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.63 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.49 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.05 Kharba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 25.97 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 549.00.
Similarly, Three companies hit the positive circuit today. Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM) experienced a positive circuit on the first trading day."
On the flip side, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - 2 (SIGS2) experienced the highest loss of 7.08%.
In sector indices, the Three Sector Indices closed in the green today. The "Finance Index" saw the highest gain of 2.10%, while the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" experienced a loss of 1.38%.
