NEPSE Index loses minimal points to close at 1305.88 points; one company hits the positive circuit

The market made a high of 1312 points and low of 1302 points today. The benchmark index lost 0.02% or 0.27 points and closed at 1305.88 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.29 Arba achieved through trade of 2,878,452 units of shares traded through 13,800 transactions trading scrips of 176 listed companies in the process.

Nadep Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NADEP) posted the highest turnover at Rs.6.38 Crore with LTP of Rs.762 per share. Promoter Shares of Kumari Bank Limited (KBLPO) stood head in terms of volume with trade of 195,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.113 per share.

The top gainer list was dominated by microfinance companies. NADEP hit the positive circuit today as it gained 9.96% or 69 points. Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.50% or 6 points, closing at Rs.103 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.49 points and closed at 278.19 points while Float Index lost 0.04 points and closed at 92.57 points.

Trading, Hotels, Non-Life Insurance and Microfinance sectors were among gaining sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
