NEPSE Index Plummets By 21.63 Points While Turnover Turned Declined to Rs. 6.83 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline today, falling by 21.63 points (0.79%) to close at 2,714.85. This follows a previous session gain of 17.28 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,735.97, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,739.55 and a low of 2,693.55. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 6.83 Arba, encompassing 13,974,452 shares traded across 316 companies through 79,031 transactions.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 58.66 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1000.

Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) emerged as the top gainer with an 8.19% increase.

Conversely, Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 7.91%.

Among sectoral indices, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, rising 4.92%, while the Development Bank Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 2.25%.
