NEPSE Index Plunges 51.37 Points; All 13 Sectors Closed Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by 51.37 points (1.91%) today, closing at 2,630.91, following a loss of 33.42 points in the previous session.

The market opened at 2,684 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,684.32 and a low of 2,622.76.

The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.93 Arba, with 67,648 transactions involving 12,745,777 shares across 304 companies. The market’s total capitalization was Rs. 43.63 Kharba, with the float market capitalization recorded at Rs. 14.49 Kharba.

 

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart with Rs. 26.45 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 984.40 per share.

On the gainers' side, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) posted the highest growth, rising by 10%.

Conversely, Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) saw a significant drop of 9.58%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the largest decline, falling 4.41%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the smallest drop at 0.91%.
