NEPSE Index Records Six Consecutive Days of Decline; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 8.37 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a loss today, falling by 20.68 points (0.74%) to close at 2,751.42. This follows a previous session loss of 46.33 points.

The trading session commenced at 2,770.17, with the index oscillating between a high of 2,791.03 and a low of 2,743.65. The day's total turnover reached Rs. 8.37 Arba, encompassing 15,094,915 shares traded across 311 companies through 87,156 transactions.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) led the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 73.50 Crores, with its stock closing at Rs. 1,300.

Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) emerged as the top gainer with a 9.98% increase.



Conversely, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) faced the steepest decline, dropping by 6.98%.

Among sectoral indices, the Others Index registered the highest gain, rising 0.08%, while the Trading Index saw the biggest drop, declining by 1.65%.
