NEPSE Index Records Three Consecutive Days of Decline; Closes Today at 1,960.30 Level

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index recorded a loss of 11.78 points or 0.59% from the previous day's closing, settling at 1,960.30 points. The index had incurred a loss of 28.68 points in the trading session before.
At the commencement of today's trading, the market initiated with the index at 1,972.63, reaching an intraday peak of 1,975.39 and encountering a low of 1,946.42.
During today's trading session, a total of 309 different stocks were traded in 45,442 transactions. The volume of shares traded totaled 5,574,207, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 2.08 Arba. The market capitalization was reported at Rs. 30.81 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.51 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) led in turnover, amassing Rs. 13.20 crores and concluding the day with a market price of Rs. 452.00.
Similarly, today's highest gainer is Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GILB) at 9.70%. Following the line is NIC ASIA Growth Fund-2 (NICGF2) at 8.45%.
On the flip side, Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) experienced the highest loss of 7.49%.
In sector indices, Two sectors indices closed in the green today. The "Manufacturing And Processing Index" saw the highest gain of 0.66%, while the "Trading Index" experienced a loss of 2.52%.
