NEPSE Index Records Three Consecutive Days of Decline; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 6.65 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a double-digit loss in today's session, declining by 15.54 points (0.59%) to close at 2,594.13. This follows a double-digit loss of 25.41 points in the previous session.
Starting the day at 2,610.05, NEPSE experienced fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday high of 2,615.55 and a low of 2,580.74. A total turnover of Rs. 6.65 Arba was recorded, with 64,278 transactions involving 13,870,579 shares of 322 listed companies. The market’s total capitalization was Rs. 43.02 Kharba, with the float market capitalization recorded at Rs. 14.41 Kharba.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 45.25 crores worth of trades and closing at Rs. 1,135 per share.
Similarly, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) topped the gainers' list, achieving a 10% increase in share price.
In contrast, Two companies recorded the steepest decline of the day, falling by 10%.
Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the largest decline, falling 1.89%, while the Non-Life Insurance Index saw the smallest drop at 0.02%.
