NEPSE Index Rises 27.41 Points to Close at 2,645.36, All Sectors Closed Green

The NEPSE index concluded today's trading at 2,645.36 points, marking a gain of 27.41 points (1.04%) from the previous close. This follows an earlier significant drop of 9.19 points in the last trading session.

Opening at 2,620.91, the index saw fluctuations, peaking at 2,647.23 before hitting its intraday low of 2,620.66 points.

Today’s trading involved 307 stocks across 58,552 transactions, with 10,418,926 shares exchanged, bringing the turnover to Rs. 5.34 Arba. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.08 Kharba, and the float market capitalization was Rs. 14.89 Kharba.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led in turnover, recording Rs. 33.79 crores and closing at Rs. 1,400.00.

Additionally, two companies surged to hit the positive circuit.

Meanwhile Peoples Hydropower Company Limited (PHCL) registered the day’s biggest loss, falling by 6.02%.

All sector indices ended in the green, with the Finance Index gaining the most at 3.46%, while the Banking SubIndex sector posted the smallest increase at 0.36%.
