NEPSE Index Rises 37.13 Points to Close at 2,690.72, Marking 93.22-Point Gain in Two Days

The NEPSE Index surged by 37.13 points (1.39%) today, closing at 2,690.72. This marks a gain of approximately 93.22 points over two trading days, following yesterday's increase of 56.09 points.
Throughout the trading session, the market exhibited fluctuations, opening at 2,656.8 points. It briefly dipped to an intraday low of 2,656.35 before rallying to reach a high of 2,707.16 points.
By the session's end, a total of 305 scrips were traded through 73,119 transactions, leading to a turnover of Rs. 7.09 Arba with 15,845,449 shares exchanged.
Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) topped the turnover chart with shares worth Rs. 26.23 crore traded, closing at Rs. 952.
Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) posted the highest gain of the day, rising by 9.93%.
Meanwhile, Eastern Hydropower Limited (EHPL) lost all 10%.
Sector-wise, the Hotels And Tourism Index Index led the pack with a sharp increase of 3.50%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 1.29%.
