NEPSE Index Rises 46.69 Points to Close at 2,692.05, Marking 74.1-Point Gain in Two Days

The NEPSE index concluded today's trading at 2,692.05 points, marking a gain of 46.69 points (1.76%) from the previous close. This follows an earlier significant gain of 27.41 points in the last trading session.

Opening at 2,648.37, the index saw fluctuations, peaking at 2,692.11 before hitting its intraday low of 2,647.99 points.

Today’s trading involved 319 stocks across 68,614 transactions, with 13,373,481 shares exchanged, bringing the turnover to Rs. 6.12 Arba. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.83 Kharba, and the float market capitalization was Rs. 15.17 Kharba.

Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) led in turnover, recording Rs. 24.71 crores and closing at Rs. 798.50.

Additionally, four companies surged to hit the positive circuit.

Meanwhile, NIFRA Uraj Rinpatra7%-2085/86 (NIFRAUR85/86) registered the day’s biggest loss, falling by 1.95%.

All sector indices ended in the green, with the Non-Life Insurance Index gaining the most at 3.60%, while the Trading Index sector posted the smallest increase at 0.35%.
